In addition to helping Disability Mentoring Day to take root
in all 50 states and all US territories, AAPD is pleased to lead in international
efforts to help transplant DMD around the world. New Zealand was the first
nation to begin taking the DMD model beyond the borders of the US, and other
nations are joining in this ongoing work with more to follow.
